Tell Congress to Protect Your Right to Safe Medical Care

Congress is pushing legislation that will make lawsuits brought by injured patients, nursing home residents, and their families nearly impossible to pursue. The so-called “Protecting Access to Care Act of 2017” [H.R. 1215] will rig the system against individuals like you and tip the scales in favor of health care corporations and the insurance industry.

This national tort reform bill is both unfair and unconstitutional. It only benefits big businesses to the detriment of those people most seriously harmed by placing limits on compensation for non-economic damages (i.e., human pain and suffering).
