10th Annual Taste Of Pinecrest Event
PINECREST, Fla. – February 6, 2012 – The Pinecrest Business Association and Jackson South Community Hospital invite you to attend the 10th Annual Taste of Pinecrest. Join us as we celebrate 10 years of supporting our local public schools with an action-packed community event on Saturday, March 3 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Pinecrest Gardens (11000 Red Road).
A fun-filled day for the whole family, the Taste of Pinecrest will feature dishes from popular local restaurants and caterers including Black Point Ocean Grill, Smoke & Spice, Sir Pizza, Pasquale’s Kitchen, The Butcher Shop, Rodbender’s Raw Bar & Grill, and CrepeMaker. The culinary enjoyment doesn’t stop there; for the first time ever guests can get in on the action at the Whole Foods Kids Culinary Corner with healthy cooking demonstrations by local chefs.
In addition to delectable treats, the Taste of Pinecrest will feature free activities for kids from the Miami Dolphins Special Teams and Jump A Roos. Guests will also enjoy an active scavenger hunt, live entertainment, a juried student art show, a fabulous raffle, and many more surprises. Plus, forget about parking with the new addition of the free bike valet available to all guests who ride their bikes to the event.

Since its inception in 2002, the Taste of Pinecrest has raised more than $250,000 for the five public schools in Pinecrest, which include Pinecrest Elementary, Palmetto Elementary, Howard Drive Elementary, Palmetto Middle, and Miami Palmetto Senior High.

Founded in February 2000, The Pinecrest Business Association is a volunteer organization involving all of the Village of Pinecrest and surrounding areas and its more than 600 businesses.
