SPHINX IS HERE!
On Friday, October 7, Panter, Panter & Sampedro, P.A. welcomed SPHINX to its law offices in Pinecrest, Florida. The colorful pooch is not just for show; he is an esteemed member of the SmARTy Dogs program. Sponsored by the Firm, SPHINX will be auctioned off in March of 2012. The proceeds from the auction benefit public schools in our community of the Village of Pinecrest.
Artist G. Mena, known for his dramatic, vibrant colors, designed SPHINX. For twelve years G worked as the Art Director for Bacardi here in South Florida. He has also lent his talents to such companies as Disney and Pepsi-Cola.
“SPHINX is a wonderful addition to our office,” says Mitch Panter, co-founder of Panter, Panter & Sampedro, P.A. “He sits right outside of our doors welcoming all visitors. We invite everyone to come by and say hi. SPHINX is definitely not camera shy and best of all, you don’t need to give him a treat to sit still. We look forward to supporting our community through the program.”
The SmARTy Dogs for SmART Schools campaign is an art in public places program that began in September. Recognized South Florida artists paint the larger than life fiberglass dogs, which are sponsored by local businesses and exhibited throughout the Village in parks, schools and along the US 1 business corridor. The dogs will be auctioned in March 2012 and all proceeds will go to the Smart Schools campaign to support technology at the Village of Pinecrest public schools. Click here for more information.
