Getting around town just became easier and greener. Thanks to a partnership between the Villages of Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay, Miami-Dade County’s Transportation Planning Organization (TPO), and Freebee, residents can now enjoy complimentary, on-demand rides to their favorite local destinations.
Freebee offers a new way to move through the community with ease. Using 100 percent electric vehicles, this eco-friendly service makes everyday travel more accessible, sustainable, and stress-free. Whether heading to school, the park, or a local coffee shop, residents can count on a quick, comfortable ride right from their phones.
As a proud community sponsor, Panter, Panter & Sampedro helps make this service possible for residents of both Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay. Supporting Freebee’s reach is part of our continued effort to build safer, more connected communities throughout South Florida. After all, accessibility and safety should never be out of reach.
What is Freebee and How Does it Work?
Freebee offers a path to cleaner, more sustainable transportation. Each Freebee vehicle is fully electric and emission-free, offering a fun and responsible way to get around town without adding to traffic congestion or pollution.
Riders can easily book a trip through the Ride Freebee app. Once downloaded, users simply request a ride, select their destination, confirm the pickup, and enjoy the journey. Those without a smartphone can call 855-918-3733 to schedule a ride directly.
Operating hours in Pinecrest are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. In Palmetto Bay, rides are available Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. All requests must be received shortly before closing time to meet the high demand.
Freebee connects residents to key local destinations, like schools, parks, shopping centers, and public transit stations, such as the South Dade Transitway and Metrorail. The goal is simple: make local travel seamless, affordable, and environmentally friendly.
Our Commitment to Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay
At Panter, Panter & Sampedro, community service extends beyond the courtroom. Sponsoring Freebee allows us to help keep this valuable service free for residents. It is a direct reflection of our firm’s long-standing mission: to give back to the communities we serve and make everyday life safer and more accessible for all.
Transportation should never be a barrier to independence. Freebee provides a reliable way for seniors to get to appointments, students to reach school safely, and families to explore their community together. By offering a convenient, no-cost alternative to short car trips, the program also helps reduce traffic and carbon emissions in our neighborhoods.
Beyond convenience, Freebee strengthens community ties. Local businesses benefit from increased foot traffic, while residents discover new dining spots, shops, and parks right in their backyard. Freebee has quickly become an essential part of daily life in Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay, offering residents a safe and convenient way to move around their community.
By providing safe, eco-conscious transportation, Freebee encourages residents to experience their community with a renewed sense of connection and pride. Supporting this initiative underscores our dedication to helping individuals live safer, healthier, and more fulfilling lives.
By the Numbers: Community Impact
The success of the Freebee partnership is best reflected in the numbers. According to the Panter, Panter & Sampedro Campaign Report (September 2025), more than 13,345 passengers have enjoyed rides throughout Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay from February 2025 to September of the same year. Each trip represents a meaningful step toward safer, more sustainable local transportation.
Together, these rides account for over 48,000 miles traveled and 4,181 hours of service completed. The data underscores the growing reliance on Freebee as an accessible and environmentally responsible travel option for residents.
Awareness of the program continues to expand, with 3.25 million impressions generated through digital and out-of-home campaigns since April 2025. In Pinecrest, 6,900 passengers have taken advantage of the service, supported by more than 845,000 impressions. In Palmetto Bay, the momentum is equally strong, with 6,400 passengers served and over 1.57 million impressions recorded.
These numbers highlight the program’s impact beyond transportation. They represent greater community engagement, reduced traffic congestion, and stronger support for local businesses. By connecting residents to vital community destinations, including parks, schools, shops, and dining, these rides demonstrate how safe, sustainable mobility acts as a powerful force for community enrichment.

Positive feedback continues to highlight Freebee’s reliability and the professionalism of its drivers. Riders appreciate not only the comfort of the vehicles but also the ease of using the app and the friendly experience from start to finish.
As one rider shared, “Great service, user-friendly app, professional drivers. Will definitely keep using it every time I visit Delray,” wrote Amanda A. Her words reflect the satisfaction and trust that Freebee riders have come to expect: consistent, courteous service that puts safety and convenience first.
